LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and DHL Group signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 23rd. The two companies will collaborate on green energy deployment and low-carbon logistics services, with a primary focus on scaling distributed photovoltaics (PV) and Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) across DHL’s European facility network.

Under the framework of the MoU, LONGi and DHL plan to execute joint initiatives across key strategic domains:
Distributed PV and BIPV Deployment: Installing LONGi’s high-efficiency Back-Contact (BC) technology-based BIPV products and distributed solar modules across DHL’s real estate portfolio and logistics hubs.
PV-plus-Storage & Clean Energy Co-Development: Jointly designing integrated solar-plus-storage solutions tailored for logistics facilities, while exploring applications for green hydrogen and next-generation clean energy technologies.
Global Pilot Testing & Co-Innovation: Deploying and testing LONGi’s novel clean-energy products and hardware across selected sites within DHL’s global logistics network.
Executive Leadership Alignment: Establishing a joint senior executive steering mechanism to evaluate progress and identify new project opportunities.
The strategic partnership builds upon a long-standing logistics relationship. Previously, DHL provided multi-modal supply chain support for LONGi—including factory relocations—via its Express, Global Forwarding Ocean Freight, and Industrial Projects units.
Under the expanded cooperation framework, DHL will broaden its service portfolio to encompass optimized B2C logistics frameworks, marketing fulfillment solutions, and customized logistics support for LONGi’s newly launched battery energy storage system (BESS) product portfolio—building a robust, end-to-end global supply chain architecture.
