Sungrow Hydrogen Secures Poland's Largest PEM Electrolyzer — OrderAccelerating its European Green Hydrogen Expansion

September 22^nd — Sungrow Hydrogen, in partnership with Polish engineering firm DOT Engineering, officially signed a supply contract with Promet Plast s.c. to provide a 21 MW proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer system for a RFNBO green hydrogen production project in Poland. The deal represents Poland's largest PEM electrolyzer order to date.

The project is set in Gaj Oławski, and will be powered by a new wind power and photovoltaic power generation site with 49.36 MW of  installed capacity. Relying on renewable electricity, the facility is designed to produce 1,701 tonnes of RFNBO-compliant green hydrogen annually, primarily for transport and natural gas blending applications, avoiding over 57,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year. Sungrow Hydrogen will collaborate closely with general contractor ELQ S.A., leveraging its flexible hydrogen production solution to adapt to Europe's dynamic renewable energy power profiles and ensure stable operational efficiency.

Following the successful execution of benchmark projects such as Italy's off-grid PEM hydrogen production system, Sungrow Hydrogen continues to deepen its footprint across European markets. The company's global business presence now spans over 10 countries, with cumulative electrolyzer orders exceeding 1 GW. Moving forward, Sungrow Hydrogen will continue expanding its international footprint, partnering with regional stakeholders to accelerate local green energy transitions.
