Siltrax Exports Proprietary Silicon Bipolar Plate PEM Electrolyzer to South Korea

September 23^rd — Siltrax (zhejiang) Co., Ltd (“Siltrax”) recently dispatched its self-developed silicon bipolar plate Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolyzer to South Korea. Engineered for local small-to-medium-scale distributed hydrogen generation systems, the shipment marks a commercial international export breakthrough for the company's hydrogen equipment portfolio.

Tailored for small-and-medium-capacity overseas hydrogen production scenarios, the exported PEM electrolyzer incorporates proprietary silicon bipolar plate technology, delivering distinct advantages over traditional metal bipolar plate electrolyzers in manufacturing cost, operational performance, and system durability. Leveraging standardized, commercial-scale manufacturing processes, the product streamlines production workflows, reduces material consumption, and lowers manufacturing costs for core components.

Featuring precision-engineered micro-channel flow field designs, the unit enhances hydrogen conversion efficiency and reduces power consumption when paired with standard catalyst-coated membranes (CCMs). The compact, lightweight design aligns with installation and operational requirements across small-scale applications, including distributed hydrogen generation, commercial and industrial (C&I) integration, and laboratory testing setups.

In terms of durability, the inherent chemical stability of silicon-based materials resists the acidic operational environment of PEM electrolysis.
