During the operating of the fuel cell system, the hydrogen utilization is up to 95%, however, there is still remaining unused hydrogen that should be reduced to under 4% to emission safely by some methods, such as recycled, mixed and etc. While people using the fuel cell system to generate electricity in a hermetic space, the off-gas discharged from the cell would gathering and layering on the top of the space. When a amount of tail hydrogen cumulated and concentrated on the top of the space, there would be a security risk of hydrogen explosion, especially for it used by private cars, storage forklift, tunnel cars, etc. Therefore, it is really important to eliminate tail hydrogen safely and carefully.
Jaran Hydrogen developed a series of HOGE - hydrogen containing off-gas elimination, in order to matching different power size, which is based on the specific character of tail hydrogen emission from the fuel cell system. HOGE can realize multiple performs depending on the demands from clients, including impulse pneumatic distribution, dehydration, heat recovery, hydrogen elimination, noise-damping and other functions. HOGE can be used at normal or low temperature environment, and the production is only water via the reaction between hydrogen and oxygen, which is green and safe.
