The German PVT Coating company specializes in the design, development and manufacture of different types of PVD vacuum coating systems. It is mainly used for the surface coating of bipolar plates in molds, parts and fuel cells and electrolyzers. Both single-chamber and continuous coating systems can be manufactured. The continuous coating system has 3 and 4 chambers, and the annual production capacity of the bipolar plate coating can reach 5 million pieces. The comprehensive cost of each coating is <1 euro. Different types of carbon-based, metal or metal nitride coatings are available, including precious metal coatings. New film processes are also being developed.
