HAIKOU, September 23rd — During the 2026 World New Energy Vehicle Conference (WNEVC), Rockcheck FuturEnergy (Haikou) successfully completed one-time commissioning of its integrated hydrogen production and refueling station. As a supporting infrastructure project for Hainan's provincial fuel cell vehicle demonstration program, the station will service 40 operational hydrogen-powered cold-chain vehicles across port logistics, island-loop trunk transport, and fresh produce cold chain distribution scenarios.

Due to Hainan's unique island geography, local hydrogen development faces operational challenges including high transport costs, long supply chains, and supply stability risks. To address these constrains, the integrated station adopts an on-site generation and refueling operational model. Built on skid-mounted station construction approach, the station features high system integration, easy adaptability, and accelerated construction.
The facility is equipped with a distributed methanol-to-hydrogen production system designed to produce 1,000 kg of high-purity hydrogen per day, meeting the refueling demands of commercial fuel cell fleets. The engineering design incorporates specific technical adaptations for Hainan's high-temperature, high-humidity, and high-salinity island environment to ensure year-round, all-weather operational stability. Managed via an intelligent control platform, the facility enables single-click start-stop automation, remote monitoring, operational analytics, and automated hazard alerts, while maintaining zero solid waste, process wastewater, or harmful tailgas emissions during hydrogen production.
The project's commissioning holds practical significance for overcoming island hydrogen supply constraints. Rockcheck FuturEnergy previously completed batch deliveries of hydrogen cold-chain vehicles in Hainan, and this successful commissioning marks the transition of its local energy layout into full commercial deployment.
