On August 4, the Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone announced the EIA approval decision for the project.

According to the approval document, the project is located in the Eastern Zone of Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone. It will build three dedicated pipelines along the industrial park’s public pipe gallery, including one pipeline each for hydrogen, carbon monoxide and liquid ammonia.

All three pipelines will start at Zhenyuan Hydrogen Energy (E117°38′54.797″, N38°21′31.487″) and terminate at the Dahua Juhai branch (E117°36′27.119″, N38°21′21.505″).

The project has a total investment of RMB 26.3938 million, including RMB 135,000 for environmental protection measures, equivalent to approximately 0.5% of the total investment.

The pipeline routes will pass through protective greenbelts, industrial park roads and existing industrial facilities within the park. According to the EIA approval document, the project does not involve residential areas or ecologically sensitive areas.

Once operational, the pipelines are expected to transport 144 million Nm³ of hydrogen, 165,000 tons of liquid ammonia and 96 million Nm³ of carbon monoxide annually.

The project is part of the development of Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone’s industrial infrastructure and will provide dedicated pipeline transportation for hydrogen, carbon monoxide and liquid ammonia within the park.
