HYLIUM INDUSTRIES, INC. was established as a venture company of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) and developed the first cryogenic liquid hydrogen manufacturing and storage technology in Korea. Currently, it has developed various technologies related to hydrogen liquefaction systems and has more than 100 patents and intellectual property rights.

HYLIUM INDUSTRIES, INC develops drones that can be powered by both liquid and gas hydrogen. It is called HyliumX-H. The system comprises three integrated units: the hydrogen storage unit, electric power generation unit, and power management unit. Boasting over 6-hours flight time, HyliumX-H redefines endurance and operational capability. This is the first liquid hydrogen drone used by the Army Tiger Brigade in 2022, and it successfully performed target identification and continuous flight for two hours.

With these capabilities, public institutions can utilize the various features of the drone for long-hour surveillance and reconnaissance activities.
